crawl as far as 800km

Two Buddhist monks would crawl as far as 804.6 kilometers to the holy temples in China.

Monk Zhiyuan and Hanliang will spend two months of crawling to 99 temples Putuo mountain when traveling to the east of China. They do that to touch the statue of goddess Guanyin.

"They will crawl and every third step they would stop and bow as a mark of respect to the goddess (Guanyin)," said one resident quoted by Orange.

Each night the two monks would sleep under the sky by simply using a cot. They do not carry a tent at all.
